BIOS

Selena Lauterer, Executive Producer

Selena has worked in public media for 20 years and is the founder and president of Artemis Independent, a media promotions and production company located in Boone, North Carolina. Her public television credits include Co-Producer of the Emmy and Peabody Award-winning PBS series A Chef’s Life, and Executive Producer of A Craftsman’s Legacy. Her company manages promotion efforts for over a dozen public television favorites each year, including Roadtrip Nation, Reel South, Pearl Jam 20, Tony Bennett Duets II, and more.

Kelly Davis, Director

Kelly teaches film and video production at Appalachian State University in Boone, and has worked in public television production for 15 years. He earned his Master’s Degree in documentary film from the University of California, Berkeley and a PhD in Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and has recently acquired tenure at App State. His major credits include such series as History Detectives, The New Heroes, Bridging World History, and A Craftsman’s Legacy.
