After losing her daughter during a violent protest in Charlottesville, Virginia, Susan Bro now dedicates her life to communicating across divides to avoid further violence. Across the country, conservatives David and Erin Leaverton, set off an RV journey across all fifty states, seeking to understand not only the roots of our divisions, but how to heal from them too.

THE REUNITED STATES follows these and other unsung heroes as they attempt to bridge our cultural, political, and racial divisions. Based on the book of the same name by Mark Gerzon, the film urges us to consider that when it comes to reuniting the country, everyone has a role to play.
